Background

Painting Three Kingdoms is a hand-painted Three Kingdoms strategy mobile game. Bekko Games went to us one month before the promotion was launched, hoping that we could find some influencers in Hong Kong and Taiwan in a short time. They wanted to get as many promotional videos and permissions to use these videos commercially within a certain budget.

Bekko Games needed influencers to promote the new activities of their game on different platforms in the form of livestreaming and dedicated videos, and they hoped that these influencers could be knowledgeable about the background and features of the game, and attract traffic with high quality videos, aiming to get viewers to download the game and conduct in-game purchases.

  • We analyzed the promotion needs and worked out a strategy, determining whether to invite SLG game influencers to promote the Painting Three Kingdoms. Due to the short timeline, we immediately reached out to hundreds of SLG game influencers in Hong Kong and Taiwan who had signed contracts with us, and selected 16 influencers on YouTube and Twitch within 5 days.

  • We settled on the script as quickly as possible, and made a demo video to show to the client as a preview. We requested all influencers to play the game for a week to get familiar with the content of the game. Eventually, they learned about the characters, skills, and activities in detail, and authentically produced engaging video content in their own style.

  • In terms of promotion forms, we have developed a variety of promotion programs.

  • Order :

    In order to make the promotion more effective, we chose 'couple influencers' to livestream, and used couple, punishment, and PK as hot words to create a gimmick.

  • Another influencer livestreamed for more than 3 hours. He rose from a novice to the second level on the whole server through strategy and upgrading, which resulted in high interaction among audiences.

  • We instructed each influencer to display the download QR code and game package code in each video, and the download link to be shown in the video description, so as to guarantee the promotional effect and conversion.

Results

Through our strategy, the promotion activity got 300,000 views and got a lot of positive comments. A large number of fans of the influencer downloaded the game, and the client's expectations were met.

We had obtained video copyright on the content that was produced on behalf of our clients, which enabled them to have materials for other forms of promotion.
